IN THE MAKING
We begin with the question, not the answer.
Nuur Collective is a design practice working across architecture, interiors and spatial design.
Our process begins with looking closely: at the people, the place, the context and the possibilities within a brief. From there, ideas are tested, challenged and refined through sketches, material studies, models, site observations and conversations.
We believe the process is as important as the outcome. It is through this continual process of questioning, exploring and making that each project finds its own character.
Much of this happens behind the scenes, and our Instagram is where we share it. From early ideas and material explorations to site moments, details and the decisions that shape a project, it offers a closer look at how we work and what we're thinking about along the way.
ABOUT US

A collective of people, not just a practice.
Nuur Collective was founded by Artika Aggarwal and Tanuj Biyani, two architects with different ways of looking at the world and a shared interest in making things thoughtfully.
We work closely as a team, with a lot of conversation, questioning and exchange along the way. Our team brings together architects and designers at different stages of their practice, each contributing their own perspective, skills and curiosity to the work.
We believe good work comes from people who care about what they are doing, are willing to question their first idea, and aren't afraid to get into the details.
That's the kind of studio we're building.
